 Hannah lives in Gloucester
and has two young children of her own. As a school
governor and occasional panel member for school admissions appeals, she is committed to giving children the best start in
life.
Hannah
says "after a stint living in the US, I came back feeling we could
learn a lot from the Americans about integrating children into our
lives and simply enjoying them a little more!  I love that naming ceremonies give parents the
chance to step back from the day-to-day craziness of looking after
young children to consider what being a parent means to us, our
responsibilities and the happiness and hope children bring."
Hannah has recently trained to take wedding ceremonies and is really enjoying marrying people in some very beautiful and very rustic locations!

 Philippa
lives
in Cheltenham and has been working in housing management for a number
of years.
She has been working with her father, Philip Howell, a
longstanding humanist celebrant, since 2006. Philippa specialises in
both humanist naming and wedding ceremonies.
Philippa
says "I really enjoy being able to work closely with couples and
parents to provide tailor-made ceremonies to suit the specific occasion
- a more personal alternative to the Registrars' standard service.
 I've
enjoyed holding ceremonies in a variety of venues including private
houses and gardens, barns and community halls as well as function
rooms.
I've particularly enjoyed officiating at 'al fresco' ceremonies
held in parks or a field!"
